上海交通大学图书馆馆长,博士,局域网与新型光通信系统国家重点实验室教授/博士生导师。曾获宁夏回族自治区人民政府科技进步二等奖(2019年)、上海市优秀博士论文指导教师(2016年),上海交通大学校长奖(2012年),教育部新世纪优秀人才计划(2005年),上海市教委曙光学者(2006年)、上海市人民政府科技进步二等奖(2004年),教育部科技进步二等奖(2001年)、上海市人民政府科技进步三等奖(1999年)

作为负责人主持和参与了国家863、国家自然基金、科技部国际合作项目等各类科研项目30多项。在IEEE Communications Magazine, Optics Express, IEEE Spectrum中文版以及国内电子学报、光学学报等国内外知名期刊或会议上共发表学术论文200多篇,承办或主办了APCC2009、WOCC2010、FIT2011、 FIT2012、OECC2015 等多个国际学术或研讨会议。IEEE 光子学会上海分会筹建人,曾担任OECC国际指导委员会委员主席、IEEE通信学会上海分会主席等学术职务。现为上海市高校图书情报工作委员会秘书长,教育部高等学校图书情报工作委员会图书馆管理与服务创新论坛学术委员会秘书长,上海交通大学图书馆学术委员会主任,国际大学图书馆协会IATUL理事。
